Ahmet Tiryakioğlu biography promo photo

Ahmet Tiryakioğlu is an independent musician, composer, producer, guitarist and bassist whose work is guided by emotion, atmosphere and creative instinct rather than strict genre boundaries. Since releasing his debut album in 2019, he has focused intensely on building a personal musical language that moves between songwriting, electronic production, live performance, improvisation and sound design.

Born into a musical family, Ahmet has spent most of his life creating music and contributing to a wide range of artistic projects. Before fully dedicating himself to music, he built a successful career as a VFX artist. After relocating to Bodrum in 2015, he became deeply influenced by the vibrant and intimate music scene of Gümüşlük, a turning point that led him to pursue music as both a profession and a lifelong creative path.

Ahmet’s early musical career includes performing at Rock’n Coke Festival as the guitarist of the high-energy electro project Digital Playground, before entering his first full album production process with his band Dalga in 2011. In 2018, he co-founded Nomad Jam Crew with Mengü Gülmen and Batucan Işık, transforming years of improvisational practice into a collaborative live platform. The project brought together artists from diverse musical backgrounds and featured performances with respected names including Erkan Oğur, Jehan Barbur, Bilal Karaman, Koray Candemir, Oğuz Kaplangı, Siney Yılmaz, Ezgi Kosa and Kaan Boşnak.

His studio and production work continued to expand through notable collaborations. He produced a song for Zeynep Casalini for the Murathan Mungan poetry compilation album 2020 Model: Murathan Mungan, and contributed as both performer and producer to a version of Mine Çayıroğlu’s Günebakanlar EP, released in 2020. He also collaborated with Miya to compose and produce the single Hak Ettik.

As a solo artist, Ahmet has released a series of collaborations with distinctive voices in Turkish music, including Gözde Öney on Mucize in 2021, Ayşe Saran on Defalarca in 2022, and Deniz Arcak on Anılarda in 2023. In 2024, he joined forces with Kubilay Gürbüz and Güneş Kortel to record Nauma, continuing his interest in emotionally driven, collaborative music-making.

Alongside his studio work, Ahmet remains active as a stage musician, performing guitar and bass across multiple projects including İttifak, Nomad Jam Crew, Deniz Gürzumar, Bate Bahadır Aksoy and Haluk BB.

Beyond performance and production, Ahmet develops and shares creative tools for modern music makers. Through Patreon, he releases sample packs, Ableton devices, digital instruments, plugins, sound design materials and production resources, opening his creative archive to listeners, producers and fellow artists. His work reflects a broad artistic identity: part performer, part producer, part sound designer, and part builder of musical systems.
